First of all, I would like again to extend my apologies to all of my followers for not updating more often. Allow me to summarize since the last entry. My time spent and friends made in Timisoara will never be forgotten. I especially loved the fellowship with college students as well as the local church there (Vox Domini). The relationships that were made there in that town I hope will last a lifetime. I know Christ is present on the campus and around the city through all the wonderful Romanians and foreigners working there. Also, I hope to keep in touch with Petrica and Muri, my flatmates.
From December 15 to February 17 I was in the states enjoying the company of my family, friends, and Kate. It was great to be refreshed with the warm familiarity of Greenville and my church family at ERBC.
Currently, I am in Jos Nigeria (above) serving as missionary to the unreached Jarawa people. Nigeria is obviously a different environment than Romania. I hope to have some pictures up soon of some of the people/places growing familiar to me over here, but the internet connection is inconsistent so I ask for your patience. Ministry wise, ERBC has formed a partnership with Unity Baptist (Pastor Isaac) in efforts to reach out to the Jarawa people living out in the “bush bush” who have almost zero access to Christianity and medicine. Right now, my schedule for March is almost completely filled with trips out to the bush and I am very very excited. Also, I am looking forward to the two teams from ERBC coming in March who will be going out into the Bush to bring medicine and the Good News to people who desperately need it. Thank you so much for your prayers and thoughts as I serve day to day doing what I can to be obedient to Christ in his call on my life.
